Your farm data belongs to you and remains under your control. All information entered into the calculator—including crop-block settings, irrigation records, soil-water measurements, and calculation results—is stored only on your computer in your web browser. It is not uploaded to, recorded in, or stored in any online or third-party database. Protecting growers’ operational data is fundamental: Your information remains private and stored only on this computer unless you choose to export a backup copy to an external device.

Crop Irrigation Calculator

This calculator combines farm data, crop growth stages, weather data, soil-water storage, and irrigation-system information to estimate the daily root-zone water balance. Following the FAO-56 soil-water-balance approach, it updates root-zone depletion each day using crop evapotranspiration, effective rainfall, irrigation, and estimated water-stress effects to determine when irrigation is needed and how much water to apply.

In the calculator, users can set up individual crop blocks, review current irrigation recommendations and weather, record irrigation events, and schedule irrigation using target Management Allowed Depletion (MAD). Daily and weekly schedules, seasonal trends, and summary results support ongoing management, while advanced settings contain the crop, soil, irrigation system, and crop-coefficient information used in the calculations.
